Top tube is about 54cm center to center Seat tube is about 51cm center to center stand over height is about 77.5cm. Medici Pro Pista Track Bike Original Campagnolo Pista Gruppo Vintage Rare Fixed

I have a one-of-a-kind Medici Pro Pista track bike for sale. Here’s your chance to own a piece of extremely rare American cycling history. It has the original custom paint with the name “Kelly” on the seat tube. I’m not an expert on cycling history, but if you Google “Kelly track bike” or “Medici Kelly”, a couple of names pop up. The frame size is 54cm and the serial number on the bottom bracket shell is 048. This bike is super nice and looks like it has been barely ridden. The frame and wheels are beautiful and straight. The attention to detail on the bike is incredible. The parts are all original and are all Campagnolo except the chain which has been replaced with a brand new Z-chain. The hubs and bottom bracket are super smooth with almost no wear on any of the components. It’s very fast and silky smooth riding. There are a few places on the frame where the paint is chipped, but not many, and some left over black residue on the saddle (Selle Italia Bernard Hinault Turbo). The bike has never been crashed. I had it looked over by a professional bike mechanic and everything checked out. The only problem with the bike is a slow leak in the rear tire and a few minor cosmetic things. The tires are the original sew-ups and will need to be replaced or have the hubs laced up to clincher rims.

The following was from an old MEDICI brochure and I also included the link to where I found it and frame size information.

“A companion to the nationally famous Pro Strada road racing bicycle, MEDICI’s Pro Pista track bike incorporates many of the design specifications and finishing features of its better known cousin.
Built of Columbus PS double butted cromoly steel tubing, this racer provides all of the strength, reliability, and design conformity expected in olympic-class equipment.
Components are all Campagnolo RECORD (except steel BB axle and pedal spindles) with TTT handlebars and stem, MEDICI Pedal straps.”

Sorry, but lame ebay doesn’t allow links anymore so you will need to go to equusbicycle dot common-mon=com and search for Medici Pro pista brochure.

Guerciotti Track Bike Pista Stunning Vintage “NOS” complete 55.2 Ferrari Red

Here is a time-capsule, “NOS” -built and never ridden- thoroughly exquisite Paolo Guerciotti Track Bike in absolutely showroom condition. The Ferrari/ Italian racing red finish has suffered only two pinpoint nicks located on the right chainstay very outer end (shown). The inside of the dropouts are unmarred as the wheels have been apparently been removed a very limited number of times. This gem has been treated with the utmost care and respect its entire life. All components were installed with this care, and there they have been ever since. The optimum gearing was selected, and likewise never changed. It is 49 X 15. This machine features a nice component combination of the era. C-Record Crankset (170 arms) and Headset, coupled with magnificent Record wheelset; 28H HF Hubs to Ambrosio Montreal Durex CRONO Rims/ DT single gauge spokes tied-and-soldered, tight-built to take the force, no doubt by a master. Cinelli Pista stem and bars (the right bar reveal shows scratching, so this would be the flaw in the Amish quilt -shown). Perfect bar tape of some unique make in the ideal matching color. Campy seatpost 26.6. Geurciotti chose to use Columbus Aelle tubing. The fork is a work of fine art, as are the chainstays -shaped beautifully from round at ends to ridge-ovalized in the forward section and meeting the bb shell. The tires are the coolest Vittoria Pro Team Tack AT Ultra PR, and are well-glued/ hold at 160PSI. Both the rubber and gray side surfaces are supple …very usable. The frame measures 55.2 or 3 (just under 55) seat tube c-c X 56 c-c top tube.
Stamped on the underside of the BB is “56 3 H” (note: the seat tube is NOT 56). There is a “Ten Speed Drive Imports” sticker beneath the clearcoat 04193 (all decals are beneath clearcoat). Ten Speed Drive imported and had these painted in USA with DuPont Imron.
This a NOS, unridden bike in perfect condition. Wish I could make it go FAST! …maybe you can? Or …a “trophy” “wall art”, whatever your choice. It is now available.
I will package it with the same reverent care it has seen all it’s years.
