Lack of decals is a shame, but some might prefer it that way.
At least it still has the excellent old-style head tube badge.
Too many bikes means one of my stable must go. For your consideration is a beautiful and completely original custom 1986 Cinelli Supercorsa with FULL Campagnolo Super Record components (no pedals.) —– This bike was presented in 1986 to Bruis Shivas, then the director of the USCF Velodrome in Colorado Springs, by Andrea and Cino Cinelli in homage to his many years of service to American cycling and his 50 year friendship with the Cinelli family. —– The particulars of this classic road machine are as follows: Serial number 86588. Columbus SPX tubing. 56 cm (center to center) seat tube, 55 cm top tube. —– 74 degree seat tube and 75.5 degree head tube Criterium design. Full sloping fork crown, investment cast lugs and bottom bracket shell. Because this was a special order bicycle no decals were ever applied to the frame. —– Complete Campagnolo Super Record Grupo (no pedals) including solid titanium bottom bracket, alloy headset, seat post and derallieurs. —– Never ridden Super Record 32 hole hubs laced to Campagnolo Victory Strada rims fitted with Continental Triathalon file tread tires (one of the tires does not hold air due to their age, as a pro mechanic the tire can be repaired,) six (6) speed Campagnolo Super Record freewheel, Bruis used an alternate wheelset to ride this bicycle so this wheelset and freewheel are NEW vintage Campagnolo. —– 170 mm Campagnolo crank arms with Super Record chainrings (the outer 52 tooth Super Record chainring is engraved “Cinelli.) 44 cm wide Cinelli handlebars mated to a 1R stem that carries the brass Cinelli badge. The Cinelli saddle tops off this exquisite collectors item. —– For those weight conscious purists this bike weighs in at under 21 lbs. without pedals. This is a “one of a kind” original bicycle.
