1994 Eisentraut Rainbow

Handmade American steel

1994 Eisentraut “Rainbow” road bike.

Serial# E601094 , which points to this being the 60th frame built in October 1994.

Lugged and filet brased steel frame + fork, painted british racing green with gold lettering. An unbelievable ride that is extremely stable and comfortable, but picks up FAST.

Top tube: 58.0cm
Seat tube: 60cm
Head tube: 18.5cm

Full Campagnolo Chorus 10speed group (centaur levers).
All drivetrain parts are original ’94 era, except the cassette and chain which were replaced together about a year ago.
Wheels are campy hubs laced to modern H Plus Son Archetype chrome rims. 32F/32R Bearings are perfect.

Brakes: Chorus, Jagwire shoes/pads

Bars: Civia 44cm alloy, modern compact bend (short / shallow, 1 yr old)
Tape: Cinelli supercork
Seatpost: Thomson Elite Zero setback, silver
Rear Hub: Chorus 10 32h
Front Hub: C-Record (NOS) 32h
Rims: H Plus Son Archetype, 23mm wide, chrome finish

2 stainless bottle cages included
Vittoria Rubino Pro 700x25c tires included with good life left.

No saddle or pedals included.

-I am the second owner.
-There are normal signs of use- cable rub, a few scuffs, missing paint below the fork dropouts, etc. The previous owner touched up a few paint chips with closely matching paint. They’re nearly invisible unless you look closely.
-Wheels were built a year ago by the the former wheelbuilder for the US Olympic track team. Bombproof and light.
