1984 Basso Pista – $500 (German Village)
Pictured is a 1980’s Basso track bike, made in Italy. Lugged Columbus tube set with the original fork. The bottom bracket is Italian threaded, the fork is 1″threaded, seatpost diameter is 27.2mm.
The bike is in perfect working order, with some patina reflective of it’s age. Decal sets are available on eBay for $40, I restored an identical model last year.
The frame, fork, headset, stem and handlebar are period correct. The Dura-Ace crankset (172.5mm) and Dura-Ace octalink bottom bracket are modern. Wheels are 28 spoke 3x, laced to Mavic clinchers and Miche high-flange track hubs. Tires are Michelin Pro Race service course.
Crank arms: 172.5
This bike has seen it’s share of time at the velodrome over the years, but is certainly a great vintage bike for around town. I have several and am looking to make room, so this one is up for sale.
$500 as pictured
$300 frame, fork, headset, crankset and bottom bracket.
