What about Bob?

Alas, the tubing is “only” Reynolds 501…

50cm Bob Jackson, Mid 70’s, Reynolds 501, Phil Wood, Campagnolo, Dura Ace

This is a beautiful example of early Bob Jackson craftsmanship. This bike quite clearly was sold, ridden maybe 200 miles, and then garaged. It is in excellent condition, showing its age only in its rubber — on the brake hoods and in tubes/tires. The quality of the frame is matched in component selection, with the brakes being first generation Dura Ace, the hubs and pedals being Phil wood, and the drivetrain consisting of Campagnolo shifters, FD, and crankset, and a Suntour Cyclone rear derailleur. The headset and seatpost are both Campagnolo as well, and handlebars and stem are 3TTT. The bike has had the lower pulley replaced on the rear derailleur with a red (alloy?) pulley. There is one bent spoke on the rear wheel, and both wheels have a little bit of play in the hubs. Please take a good look at the pictures and feel free to ask for more. This bike is sold as is, but we are confident you’ll be satisfied with your purchase — please do ask questions before bidding. Don’t miss a chance to own a piece of cycling history with this beautiful Bob Jackson! Shipping will be our cost, without a handling charge. Thanks for looking!
