Teledyne Titan

t$_57 (25)

For sale is my recently “preserved” and fully serviced 1973 Teledyne Titan with its original Campagnolo components. This is a mostly original bike as only those items that degrade over time (brake hoods, tape and some cables) were replaced. These are historically significant and rare bikes (2000 built) as they were one of the first, and arguably the best of the era, titanium bikes built. This was a no expense spared, do it right preservation effort as I didn’t plan on selling this bike. However, the chance to acquire an original Cinelli Laser Pista is impossible to pass, so I am selling off a few of my prized bikes. Considering this is a 40 year old bike, there are some imperfections. There is some ‘rubbing’ of the titanium in some spots, there is a ding in rear hub but overall nothing that detracts from the appearance and presence of the bike. I’ve been asked about the welds as they are a concern on these bikes and am pleased to say that they are perfect. Perfect bike to do an event like L’Eroica and enter in concours. The value of individual components are much greater than my buy it now price.

Hi-Res pictures are available on request. Extensive pictures and details of the preservation process can be seen here:
