Mystery frame (Boston)

Nice piece for the money.

Edit: we believe it’s a Mercier.

Vintage Steel Frame with Campagnolo Dropouts and Nervex Lugs – $150 (Wakefield)

I have a vintage steel frame that’s been repainted and I don’t know who made it. But it is very well-made with Campy dropouts and very nicely/finely done Nervex professional lugs. I also don’t know what type of tubing, but it is light and thin. And given the overall quality of the frame, I assume it’s a higher grade (Reynolds or Columbus?). The frame measures 55 cm ctc on the seat tube and 56 cm on the top, with a 68 mm BB shell and 120 mm rear spacing. It’s in good condition, but does have a small, professionally done repair around the seat clamp area (shown in last pic). Still, a nice frame for $150.

For those mystery detectives out there, you can see what looks to be an “ED” in a small oval on the top of the BB.
