One of ours has flown the coop

It was not an extraordinary bike, nor even a merely special bike, but it was nevertheless ours— and as with all of our bikes, it was a learning experience – we got to see what works, what doesn’t work – and it served its purpose.

We hope it enjoys yet another chance at life with its new owner.

  1. You take that back! Super Courses are indeed special – a bike boom mid-basic bike that is in a class of it’s own. I love riding my ’72 – great geometry, 531 steel, and you can’t beat the quality of 70’s British chrome.

    • Ha! Sorry to inflame passions, but no, this was no Super Course— just a Record with the finest in high tensile tubing that the gas pipe factory had to offer. Had it been a Super Course or even a Grand Prix, I might have kept it. Thanks for commenting đŸ˜‰
