This must surely be an interesting bike to be sold in Independence, Missoura.

$_57 (36gp)

This is Guerciotti track bike. The frame is made from Columbus tubing and campy dropouts. I bought this from the original owner and he thinks he bought it in the 1979-1980 time frame but was not 100% certain on the year. The frame is stamped 56 in the BB housing. The seat tube measures 22 inches center of crank to the top of the seat lug at it`s highest point. Center of crank to center of top tube measures 21 1/4 inch. The top tube measures 21 inches cxc . The frame with the tires aired up has a 32 inch stand over height. Now to the good stuff. The Cranks are Campagnolo Pista cranks 165 arm length with a campy Bottom bracket and a campy 46 tooth sprocket. The seat post is a campy 27.2 . It has a nice Concor saddle. Campagnolo headset . The wheels I had completely rebuilt , they got nos campy bearing and grease , spokes and the rims tubular and are wood filled , but I can`t remember the brand on the rims, the wheels were built by Paces Bicycle Haven and are in outstanding condition and perfectly true , the tires are new never ridden on Clement Futur tubulars. The tires never have been glued to the rims, the bike was a display item for me , only because it is way too tall for me. The pedals are Campagnolo track pedals . The bars and stem are both Cinelli. Most of the components have very some signs of usage but are still very nice. The paint on the bike was touched up in spots before I owned it and there are some paint chips mainly on the top tube close to the seat (see pictures) . Again the paint is not 100% mint it has some touch ups done to it and a few chips on the top tube, just want to be clear on that. The frame has NO dents or dings and the fork and frame are NOT drilled . The only rust I see is just a touch on the chrome on the fork crown . Again this is a used bike and is not 100% mint , it has been ridden , but not abused. Remember the tires are not glued and will need to be before riding the bike.
