Up for sale this gorgeous masterpiece of Italian Vintage Track Cycling: a Pogliaghi track bike straight from the mid 60’s. Sante Pogliaghi is one of the top 5 well respected framebuilder of the of the cycling history. From early 50’s to mid 70’s Sante was the specialist for the best track frame ready to race across the velodromes of all the world. The bike was restored in paint with Nitro paint without any clear coat finish. Serial number says #7643 on the left side ot the seat lug and PSM as usual on the right side, it means the bike comes from the second half of the 60s.
Frameset measures 51 cm c-c on seat tube, 53 cm c-c on top tube, head tube is 12cm, full italian threads, front spacing is 100mm, rear 120 mm.
Bike got a Complete Campagnolo Record pista groupset with rare crankset in 151 bcd (pre-nuovo record era). The chainring is of 50 teeth, wheels are made by campagnolo record pista hubs laced to nisi rims. The rims are brazed near the hub area to give more straighness to the wheel. Stem and Handlebar are from Cinelli (1a stem 100mm long with a Cinelli pista 67 alluminum handlebar). The seat post is a Campagnolo Record polished with a Cinelli unicanitor saddle.
Please note the front tubeless must be replaced if you want to use the bike.
