Bitubo of a different sort

First we saw the Colnago “Bitubo“. Now here we have the Rigi—albeit of a different sort:

Here’s a very rare 1980’s Rigi “Bici Corta” road bike. 59 cm. The frame features a unique split seat tube design. Designed and made in Italy by Giorgio Rinaldi. The bottom bracket is even cut out with the Rigi logo. Very cool!

The frame features Columbus tubing, Campagnolo Athena components, Mavic ma40/ open 4 cd rims and Shimano hubs. The paint and chrome is in excellent shape.

  1. Sheldon Brown was very interested in the Rigi – I saw a photo of him, with what looked like a Rolleiflex in hand, near a Rigi bike, at a show. He is sorely missed.
