LOOK Mi80r

s-l1600 (27)lmtb

Look Mi 80 R (26″wheel) mountain bike. (I believe its a 1994, not certain though.)
18″ Triple butted internally welded frame made in Canada.
Components that are original: Shimano LX (rd and fd) and XT m730 hubs laced to Ritchey Vantage rims, crank (175mm) and brakes are Ritchey Logic, cromo stem and bars.

Here is a list of New parts installed this year (with very little use since):
cartridge Bottom Bracket (un55),
Ritchey grips,
koolstop brake pads,
Shimano cassette and sram chain,
headset (same as original – Ritchey)
saddle (Crank Bros. Iodine 2)
Also Michelin Wild Run’r tires.

The rear spacing is 130mm. The Ritchey logic crankset is special in its quality and also its narrow stance (one of the narrowest fitted to a mtb).
A few paint chips.

Weird, wild stuff

Notice anything missing?

Oh yeah, the handlebar.

Here’s a rare vintage Slingshot. No idea of the year or what model it was, however I think maybe it was a tri bike given the wheel size and group. I am selling this as a frame with extras but what you are actually getting is the bulk of a bike minus the cockpit. I am not sure what it should have as far as handlebars, shifters and brake levers so I will leave that up the the buyer.

The frame is True Temper steel. The SACHS components are probably original, the other parts are probably not. The bike is sold just as pictured, and included are the following:

-Bontrager Select wheelset with Continental 23-571 tires (650C), SRAM 8spd cassette & mismatched skewers
-SACHS New Success brake calipers
-SACHS New Success derailleurs
-SACHS New Success crank with Campy big ring & QBP small ring
-Titec seatpost
-Apache saddle
-Origin8 flat pedals

Not included are stem, handlebars, shifters, brake levers or cables.

The size is quite small. The seat tube measures about 36cm from C-C and about 45cm from C-T. The top tube measures about 54cm C-C. Standover is about 27 inches. Other measurements available upon request, just ask.

Oh boy. If we were in the market for a mountain bike, this might be pretty high on top of the wish list.

And no, the concept isn’t new.

The seller gives an explanation for the nosebleed asking price:

“Please do not contact me about the asking price.” I listed it this way because I could not get an accurate fair market value for this bike as I have only seen these sold as incomplete/parts. Feel free to contact me with any respectable offers or comments that you may have. Thanks for looking! đŸ˜‰

Up for auction today is a Rare and Vintage Cinelli MX.1 BMX Bicycle. This bike is not perfect but it is in very good used condition for it’s age and having been ridden. The frame has several small chips/scratches as expected from normal use and for a bike it’s age. There is a small ding on the top tube which is barely noticeable and a larger one on the right bottom of the fork tube which is more prominent. Please see my pictures in listing along with many more detailed pictures in my Photobucket Album and ask any questions. Click Here for my Cinelli MX1 Photobucket Album I will answer all as soon as possible, if not quicker.
