These are the “Before” photos. Nice-looking frame—we look forward to seeing it rebuilt!
A Concorde by itself is nice enough; one that is kitted with a Mavic group set (though we can’t tell if it’s tout Mavic) is a compelling proposition.
Concord Aquila Dutch/Italian Roadbike – $500 (East)
56cm Roadbike made in Italy by ciocc for Concorde, a Dutch firm.
Columbus frame with campagnolo dropouts.
Good mechanical shape.
Not everyday the chance comes along to acquire a pro team bike—for not a lot of $/£/€/¥, no less (granted, the frame isn’t in what you’d call tip-top shape).
Concord PDM Team Frame for sale – $200
I’m selling a Concord PDM Team Frame/ Fork made from Columbus SLX tubing. 52 x 54 ctc. This has the number tab and has been raced as a Team frame so it will make a nice project for someone. It comes with a Campagnolo Record headset in nice condition. Asking $200. Its a piece of cycling history and should be ridden, not stored in an attic like it is now.
PDM-Concorde also PDM-Ultima was a Dutch professional cycling team from 1986 until the end of 1992. Gin-MG was co-sponsor in Spanish races and Cidona was co-sponsor in the 1991 Nissan Classic. The team was sponsored by Philips Dupont Magnetics, a joint venture between the electronics company, Philips, and the chemical company, DuPont. It rode cycles made for the Dutch bicycle company Concorde by Italian manufacturer Ciocc.
The Concorde was a good jet. Is this a good bike? Looks good on paper…
Thanks to our friend OD for the submission!
Concorde Prelude Vintage Italian Road Bike… Columbus TSX Tubing… Campagnolo
This is a fresh build of a semi vintage bike…
Made from Columbus TSX Tubing… This Concorde Prelude Frameset dates from the mid 90’s
I purchased this Frameset a couple years ago it was like a time capsule and easily in 95% condition
I ended up building the bike from clean used Campagnolo components
It’s a complete Chorus 10v drivetrain… The shifters are the now hard to find alloy versions
The rear Derailleur is a newer carbon version.
The polished alloy Record hubs are freshly laced to a set of clean used Campagnolo Atlanta 96 rims
The 3TTT Evol stem (100mm) is holding onto a 3TTT Prima 199 bars (44cm)
The San Marco Regal Saddle is held in place by a Alpha Q carbon seat post
The square taper alloy Chorus cranks are 172.5mm with 53/39 rings
The bike is 56cm square…top tube, and seat tube measured from center to center
The head tube is 150mm
All the chrome is bright and clean… No rust or pitting.
The Campagnolo theme even extends to the headset… It’s a Chorus model
