Ride Exploration photos

We had some fun this past weekend. If you’ve never tried riding a bike in the snow using studded winter tires, we highly recommend it.

Motobecane Super Champion 56cm (Boston)

1970’s Motobecane Super Champion 56cm Reynolds, Campagnolo, Phil Wood – $600 (Lowell)

I have for sale a vintage 1970’s Motobecane Super Champion which was a model not imported to the states and was the top of the line model in Europe. The bike has a 56cm Reynolds 531 frameset, Campagnolo crank, Campagnolo NR drivetrain , Weinmann Vanquish center pull brakes, 3ttt suede saddle, Pivo Motobecane stem, Pivo bars, Fiamme tubular wheels laced to Phil Wood hubs with Campagnolo skewers. This is a very nice rare French racer that will be a great ride or a nice piece for any bicycle collection. The tubular tires do hold air but will need to be replace if the bike is going to hit the road. The overall condition of this bike is amazing for its age the paint and decals are in mint shape so it needs very little to get going again.

An odd duck

Motobécane—no, Motoconfort Le—no, Super Champion.
