Campagnolo Nuovo Record gruppo

An extremely rare find, a real masterpiece handmade by legend of the Italian framebuilding school, Ugo De Rosa. This complete 1970s De Rosa Record Strada Elaborata bicycle has been professionally restored with an original paint scheme, and a complete milled and drilled Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset.
Handmade in Cusano Milanino with Columbus tubing, the technical characteristics of this frame indicate it was made in 1970. This gorgeous (and rare) original paint scheme was chosen after extensive research on this model. The bicycle is in perfect condition, with a completely new paint job.
All components have been cleaned, the frame alignment has been checked, and all mechanical parts are fully functional and in excellent condition. The complete Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset, the most technologically advanced and high-performance groupset at the time, has been milled and drilled to decrease overall weight and add that extra, aesthetically pleasing, touch.
See pictures for further details. The wheelset was laced especially for this bicycle with NOS Nisi Corsa rims and Campagnolo Record hubs, and new Challenge Vulcano tubulars. PLEASE NOTE: Tubulars have not been glued.

1985 Cinelli Laser Crono Strada

Grail bike. Looks like the complete bike is on offer, although it has already been disassembled.

In a twist, this one is already located in the United States, not in Europe (or Japan, for that matter).


This is an original Cinelli Laser Crono Strada … One of the most sought after bikes in the world. It is the 24th frame made by the Cinelli Factory as evidenced by “S24” stamped on the bottom bracket.

I acquired this bike in 1990 as the second owner … I raced it twice and it has been in the attic ever since. I had considered having the frame professionally restored (painted w/ new original decals) and have quotes from a couple of the top bicycle restoration shops in the country, but then decided it may be more desirable in current condition (given it’s rarity) or sold for new owner to have restored under their control.
Bike will be professionally packaged with each component individually wrapped, insured and shipped.

1975 Pogliaghi Strada 59.5cm

Wonder where this one will end up. From

“Sante Pogliaghi was one of the acknowledged masters of post war Italian frame builders. He was sought after by top Olympic and Professionals alike. While his track bikes, both solo and track are most famous, he also made superb road bikes. Sante passed away << edited: (in the year) 2000. The rights to manufacture frames under his name had been acquired by Marc Rossin around 1982, then in the later 1980s, the Basso brothers. >> Bikes from the 1970s and earlier, made by Sante himself, are highly prized by knowledgeable collectors.”

Made for Elio Betori, Foligno, Italy (stamped “BET” in bb shell)

Lugged steel framework with Campagnolo dropouts and Reynolds 531 tubing.

Frame number “#D130” and “PSM” in seat lug.

Original paintwork in “champagne metallic”.

Equipped with Campagnolo Record, Cinelli, etc.

Original paintwork with patina and signs of use and age.
